The Street Fighter franchise, a dominant presence in video games generally and the fight game genre specifically, has three main protagonists. One of the most iconic of these and the first female fighter in the franchise was Chun-Li, whose unforgettable design and powerful high-kicking kung fu style have made her a fan favorite across multiple editions of the game and throughout its associated media. Through many iterations of the games’ story mode, she carried on a famous feud with the chief antagonist of the franchise, M. Bison.

The obverse side of the coin carries a profile portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as seen on circulation coinage in many Commonwealth countries for decades. It’s flanked above by the inscription “Queen Elizabeth II” and below by the inscriptions “Queen Elizabeth II,” “1 oz 9999 Ag,” “2022,” “Tuvalu” and “1 Dollar.”

On the reverse is a brilliantly colorized and detailed “action shot” of Chun-Li in mid-kick. It’s accompanied by a gradation-colorized inscription of her name and by the copyright of Capcom, creators of the franchise.
