Georgian Hepplewhite Elm & Leather Set of 6 Dining Chairs
A George III period, set of six, leather upholstered, elm framed country dining chairs, dating from the late C18th. These chairs constructed in solid, well figured, English elm, feature Hepplewhite design pierced back splat with camel top rail. Drop in seats recently reupholstered and recovered in the traditional manner, in hand-dyed, tobacco coloured, leather hide. Square tapering front legs, splayed square rear legs, supported by H-stretchers.
A handsome set of high quality country chairs, in very good condition, traditional reupholstered, cleaned, waxed and ready for use.
Dimensions:
These chairs measure approximately 97 cm (38.25") tall, 52 cm (20.5") wide, and 48 cm (19") deep. The seat height is approximately 47 cm (18.5").
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - These chairs are in a very good condition commensurate with their age, and are structurally sound and sturdy. There are some minor age related marks and blemishes on the frames. No loose joints, damage or obvious signs of repair. Reupholstered in the traditional manner, with hand dyed leather hide. Very sturdy and ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.

Payment by cash is acceptable if you are collecting goods. Goods being shipped must be paid for through Ebay or bank transfer. Goods will only be shipped once payment has been received and has cleared. Payment MUST be made within 3 DAYS of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. Orders not paid for with 3 days will be cancelled and relisted, and non-payment cases will be opened through Ebay.

Delivery usually takes between 1 to 3 weeks from receipt of payment to mainland England (with the exception of Devon and Cornwall); 2 to 4 weeks for Scotland (not including Highlands and Islands), Wales, Devon and Cornwall; 4 to 8 weeks for Northern Ireland and Ireland. Sorry we cannot deliver this item to the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Islands. Please contact me regarding delivery to Scottish Highlands.
Delivery is by hand, by either ourselves or an independent Man & Van type courier. As such deliveries take time to be scheduled, arranged, collected and delivered. We will always take great care when handling, moving and delivering your item, so you can be assured its in safe hands, even the most delicate of pieces. The service we provide is a one man and to the front door service, but where possible and with assistance as necessary, we will help you move your item to where you require within your property.

Returns:
This item is available for return within 30 days of receipt. Goods must be returned in the same condition as when received. Buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Goods remain the responsibility of the buyer until they have been received back. No refund for courier shipping costs will be made.
