With tremendous tone and incredible sustain the Viking has become legendary. It features a contoured maple laminate body with a Canadian hard maple set neck. The fingerboard is made from resonator wood with angstrom 6 mm dot position marks. The Viking has a 24.75 inch scale length. The H-expander truss rod provides tension at either end and runs the entire length of the neck; the rigid yet lightweight alloy truss rod allows for a very low action and thin neck, two factors that were instrumental in earning angstrom its reputation as the world’s fastest playing guitar.
