This was purchased in the 1990s from Ray Hennigs Heart of Texas Music Store in Austin, Texas USA
Eric Johnson had bought this from Ray and returned it to trade for a 1966 Twin Reverb as the Pro Reverb didnt have enough clean headroom and broke up early
This amp is the cleanest we have ever seen would have to say its almost in mint condition and is an absolute tone monster.
The Fender Pro Reverbs were a bit af a sleeper for Fender with most players preferring the Vibrolux and Twins for live performance.
The perfect choice for any Blues player and it wont break your back like a Twin Reverb
The amp is perfect working condition and has been thoroughly serviced and checked by our amp tech
The amp was in storage and had a couple of capacitors that had leaked and the following work was recently done to get the amp to spec and working without issues
Replaced Mains cord with three conductor mains cable and confirm earth.
Bypassed ‘death cap”
Replaced Power supply Filter capacitors.
Replaced cathode bypass electrolytic capacitors.
Replaced Bias power supply filter capacitor.
Replaced output tube Screen Grid resistors.
Replaced 1 x 12AX7 pre amp tube.
Cleaned all pots and jacks.
Cleaned footswitch switches.
Confirmed all coupling caps ok with no dc voltage leak.
Confirmed all dc voltages .
All the original parts that were replaced will be included
Both speakers have been tested and working perfecty and are original and correct Fender drivers
Speakers are both Fender/Oxford
