The impression we are offering for sale has never been framed, hinged or matted so it looks as good today as it did when Jeff Koons originally signed and dated this colorful lithograph from his "Easy Fun" Series over two decades ago.
The Jeff Koons Donkey lithograph is from "Easy Fun" Series of cartoon animal shapes which initially started with large mirrors, each executed in a different cartoon animal shape. For this lithograph, Jeff Koons created the shaped outline of a Donkey, and used richly colored lithographic inks to simulate a watercolor effect, so the print looks unique.
The Jeff Koons Donkey is an excellent value, especially considering this color lithograph is from a hand signed limited edition of ONLY 99 impressions. By comparison, each of the Jeff Koons Balloon Dog multiples were published in editions of 2,300 examples, and to date, since there are a total of five different Jeff Koons Balloon Dog multiples, i.e., the Jeff Koons Red Balloon Dog, 1995; Jeff Koons Blue Balloon Dog, 2002; Jeff Koons Yellow Balloon Dog, 2015, Jeff Koons Magenta Balloon Dog, 2015 Jeff Koons Orange Balloon Dog, 2016, there are now well over 11,500 Jeff Koons Balloon Dog multiples in each of the five colors, not including additional AP's.
