Japanese gold Leaf painting .  Gorgeous Autumn / Fall colored leaves on dark branches.  You can see the gold in the  background of the gold foil.  Really beautiful.  I am not sure if this can be called Hoku Art.   Other research with the same mark/signature reports these were sold in sets and are 99.9% gold.  Very light frame.  No glass is with this frame.  It does not appear to have been designed for glass.  The frame has some corrected marks and other signs of handling and age.  The painting is in excellent condition.  Please see pictures.
