Stamp #16 from India (East India Company). I thought at first the stamp was unused, but there are some light marks on the front. Another stamp with very similar marks sold recently as unused with "surface marks." Most items under $20 ship in a first-class envelope with collectible stamps and with card stock and, for loose stamps, glassine for protection; more expensive or heavier items may go Ground Advantage or Priority Mail.
