I have here for sale VOLUME 3- Part I ( only ) of  Wotton's  - THE ENGLISH BARONETAGE containg A GENEALOGICAL AND HISTORICAL ACCOUNT OF ALL THE ENGLISH BARONETS NOW EXISTING Their Descents, Marriages and Issues....Illustrated with their Coats of Arms engraved on copper plates with explanatory index of the Terms in Heraldry referring to the Arms. Published by Wotton in 1741 at the THREE DAGGERS AND QUEEN'S HEAD, London. With 77 engraved plates, each depicting 6 shields. 

Provenance : bookplate of ROBERT INNES -SMITH. Innes Smith spent the majority of his working life as a general practitioner, based in the Brightside district of Sheffield for thirty-three years. He also worked as surgeon to the steel firm Vickers Sons and Maxim Ltd. He became highly respected for both his clinical work and his scholarly activities. On his death, part of his collection of books and portraits was acquired for the University and this is now held by Special Collections in the University of Sheffield Library. 

Bound in full leather boards. Gilt title lettering to a red block. The spine edges are rubbed and a little worn. Board corners are bumped. Book plate on the inside of the front board and ffep. Loss to lower edge of the title page 352pp plus index. 21cm x 15cm.

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 

To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
