Vintage French chicken shape wire egg basket

This vintage egg basket came from a recent French farmhouse conversion

It is made from wire and would of been used to store eggs in when carrying them from the hen house to the kitchen using the two fold down handles

It has been painted in a distressed style as photos show

A nice additional to any kitchen!
