Vintage Letterpress Printing Block Printers Plate WW2 Chamber Of Commerce Slogan

Please read complete details below regarding size and condition AND review photos closely. Thank you and enjoy!

  • Comments: This printing plate / block was purchased as part of a large lot of similar pieces that likely came from either a commercial printer, newspaper or a private collection prior to my owning it. Original geographic origin is unknown unless the plate is marked with a city but many of the blocks in the lot were for businesses located in St. Louis Missouri. Printing blocks are not my specialty so I am unsure of the metals used nor do I feel qualified to comment on the condition as it relates to how well the plate will print and what the final imprint will look like. Please do your own due diligence regarding condition and if you are comfortable with the condition as shown in the photos and detailed below.
  • Imprint: IF YOU WORK FOR A LIVING YOU'RE IN BUSINESS. WHAT HELPS BUSINESS HELPS YOU. (I found several online references to this being a US Chamber Of Commerce slogan around WW2 but I cannot guarantee how accurate that is)
