Welcome to the auction of my beloved double bass. I have spent a lot of money on her over the years and she will be much missed, but I have spent a small fortune on a replacement instrument, so regrettably this one is looking for a new home. She has a beautiful mellow tone. Ideal for orchestral, Jazz, rockabilly et cetera. The general consensus amongst the experts who have looked at her have suggested that she is mid to late 20th century, so she has a few marks as would be expected, But is generally in good playable condition. (Almost all the marks I think were on her when I got her!) Various other individuals on the forums et cetera suggest different ages, but I was not particularly bothered as I just loved her beautiful voice and was smitten when I first encountered her! Please only bid if you will look after her for me! No accessories, as I am keeping them for my new bass.

Good strings! I forget which brand. They have been on there for a while, but still have some life left in them, although you may of course have your own preference, as everyone has their favourite strings!
