Color order model of 2023 collection model! ! A round rose neck made of high quality wood! !
This one is based on a late 1962 Stratocaster with a rose fingerboard! !
We use an alder body carefully selected for Fender CustomShop products by our wood selection specialist staff. Like the body, the neck material is carefully selected from Liftson maple. The fingerboard radius is 9.5R, and the round rosewood fingerboard uses narrow-tall medium size frets, one size larger than the vintage size. The body and neck finish are all lacquered like vintage. The relic finish has irregular weather checks and paint peeling in some places. The back of the neck is largely peeled off around the 1st and 12th floors, giving it a smooth playing feel. Where paint remains, the clear coat has faded, giving it a dignified appearance.
The neck grip has a 60s OvalC shape finish, which is standard for rose fingerboard models. The grip has a slim neck in the low position and a thicker finish towards the high position. The neck shape gives the impression of being slim when you hold it.
The hardware is a synchronized tremolo with a PAT.PEND. engraved saddle, and the machine head is equipped with a vintage-type Kluson peg.
The custom shop's live sound, which is superior to any other Fender model with its bolt-on structure and clear live sound, has a different level of atmosphere and sound thickness when output from the amplifier. What's more, the resonance achieved by the relic finish is such that you can fully experience the vibration of the body neck just by playing one chord. Its overwhelming live sound is so comfortable that you can play it for hours without having to output it from an amplifier, and it has a quality that can only be experienced at a custom shop.
The pickups that reproduce that wonderful sound are all hand-wound pickups. The impression is that the amplifier outputs an acoustic atmosphere with richer harmonics than a normal machine-wound one. The installed model is the 60 63 Strat (Alnico 5 form bar) manufactured for the early 1960s. Calibration of each position uses a set balanced with resistance values. Stunning sound with a thick and spacious midrange typical of Alder Rose specifications. The control uses VINTAGEMODIFIEDSTRAT#2. The volume control is a BLEED custom based on a high-pass capacitor that combines a ceramic capacitor and a resistor, and the tone control uses FENDER paper wax capacitors that match each position. With BLEED Custom, it is possible to reduce the volume while maintaining the mid-high range even when the volume is turned down. The volume control is useful as a gain control: full volume creates a lead tone, 6 to 8 creates a backing tone, and anything below 6 creates a clean crunch. Compared to a typical high-pass condenser, the tone retains the midrange and doesn't become too thin. By selecting the appropriate capacitor values for each position of the neck, middle tone, and bridge tone, the tone control capacitors not only balance the overall tone, but also produce an attractive sound when the tone is cut.
