Offered for A LIMITED TIME is an original 1990 Home Video Store Promotional Poster for the release of "BACK TO THE FUTURE PART III" (1990), starring Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson and to advertise the sales of the first two movies in the franchise, "BACK TO THE FUTURE (1985) and "BACK TO THE FUTURE PART II (1989).
The poster was produced and released by MCA Universal Home Video and sent to Video Chain Rentals and Sales locations to when the film was first released on videocassette. The poster was printed and sent folded and measures approx. 27.75" (H) x 39" (W). Poster is horizontal format.
This is an extremely RARE and SCARCE poster distributed ONLY to video stores in the U.S. After the store had showcased its release, advertising materials were almost always destroyed and never meant to be circulated among the general public. I acquired the poster when I worked a video store manager in the late 80's and early 90's.
The poster is in NEAR MINT condition and it was never hung or displayed. There are no rips, tears, holes, tape or writing. It's been stored flat (folded as issued) along with other movie posters and memorabilia I have in an acid-free, printer's proofing box. Colors are rich and robust for this Drew Struzan classic artwork.
This a perfect, very rare and unique poster for fans of the "BACK TO THE FUTURE" franchise, collectors of Videocassette Memorabilia and Video Promotional Material. Would look great in a home theater or dorm room.
