This is originally pulled from a S 1681. 

It has the 5 Pins in front as pictured. 

This will work and fit in a 1540. 

This will NOT FIT in a X 1787 due to ONLY 4 Pins on those.

However, this Lens assembly inside removes. 

That inside lens assembly is the same on ALL Xbox One Disk Drives.
