Brainboxes ES-701: 4-Port RS232 DB9 Ethernet to Serial Device Server

The Brainboxes ES-701 is a high-performance Ethernet to Serial device server that provides access to four RS232 serial ports. With data transfer rates up to 230,400 baud rates and 1Mbit/s line drivers, it ensures uncompromising performance for your serial communication needs.

The ES-701 is part of the ES range, which offers simple and instant networked serial ports. It features a web interface that allows secure configuration and control of the serial ports over a local network or the internet using any browser. For Windows users, the in-house designed (32 bit and 64 bit) driver provides local COM ports, allowing you to connect to remote devices across your network as if they were attached locally. Serial Port Tunneling, which is individually configurable, enables serial cable replacement over any distance without requiring additional software.

You can conveniently access the ES-701 via TCP/IP sockets from any networked device such as an Android tablet, PC, or phone. On Windows OS, TCP/IP sockets are handled by the Winsock API, while other operating systems may have different implementations.
