As of February 2024, every console has had all three main capacitors replaced with upgraded tantalum caps.
Tantalum capacitors ensure the longest life possible, as they achieve long-term stability with a 20+ year service lifetime.
Important: Each system has a brand new set of stickers on the rear, including the service sticker on the battery door.
This is a step that is often missed by eBay sellers. It can make or break the overall look of a Pikachu Edition system.
