For sale is a 2013 $1 star note printed in Fort Worth and is in circulated condition (my guess this note would grade in the 40-45 range).   

This note has been CONFIRMED as a definite serial number match with Z52gI note !!!!

Quite RARE as only about 80 matching pairs (ONLY around 22 are  in same owners hands though) have been found to date and this is your chance to own half a matching pair  See below for details !!!

Many currency collectors have attempted (with some success) to obtain an example of BEP error (they won't admit) where duplicate stars notes from the same district WITH SAME (DUPLICATE) SERIAL NUMBERS were printed at both BEP locations.    To date only around 25-30 pairs with matching serials have been found and documented.

This note (printed in FW) is 1/2 of a matching pair.    Negotiations with CWK haven't gone as well as I had hoped:   He lowballed the price he'd pay for my note and wants around $3,000 for his half.   His note is in super condition probably would grade in the mid to upper 60's.   My note on the other hand is not in as good condition

At this point I'm NOT willing to pay his $3,000 price and he won't pay up for my note so I decided to list on Ebay.

BOTTOM LINE:  If you have around $5,600 to spend you can buy my note for $2,400 (lowest I'd sell for - plus est $200 sales tax) and later buy CWK's note for $3000 and you'll be the owner of a rare bird indeed !!!

VERY FEW PAIRS HAVE GRADED IN THE 100 PLUS POINTS ADDING THE 2 NOTES TOGETHER - THIS CERTAINLY COULD BE ONE OF THOSE !!!

It is estimated that a pair of notes with matching duplicate serials may be worth $10,000 or higher.    Since I first listed this, a matching pair was sold for $7,000.    Given that, then this note should be worth half that or $3,500 - I'm listing at $2,500.  

Another option if you want a matching pair is to check out Ebay item # 155154058079 - BOTH NOTES ARE GRADED and you can have both for ONLY $119,000.00.   Seems simple to me SAVE OVER $113,000 and buy mine & CWK's note.

NEW DEVELOPEMENT - I recently went thru all the 2013 $1 B/* notes I have (2.043) and input them on a spreadsheet.   I've scanned all 7 pages and have posted to this listing.   The scans shown have been reviewed for accuracy, but I'm getting old (aren't we all) and unintentional mistakes may occur.    NEW easier to read format !!!!
