The Ball is undrilled and must be fitted to the player's hand at a Bowling pro shop.

When buying your first bowling ball, you are usually overwhelmed when it comes to choosing the right weight.

The general rule for bowling balls is: the heavier, the better.
More weight creates more power on the pins and also contributes to a more consistent game - because it's easier to let the ball's gravity work for you.

Many choose to underweight their first Ball due to a lack of advice. A rule of thumb that is often helpful is that the correct weight for your own Ball is 1-2 pounds (Lbs) heavier than the weight used for rental balls.
This rule is not always fully applicable, but it is at least a guide. However, it only applies to balls that are individually adapted to the player's hand. Because an adapted hole automatically makes the weight of the ball appear a little lighter.

As a rule, men should not choose under 14 pounds.

Weights under 10 lbs should only be selected in exceptional cases (e.g. for children). For adults, we don't recommend weights under 10 lbs, as even with children, the durability of these light weights is limited. As a rule, such weights do not last long with an adult player.
