Copper round bar is produced from deoxidized copper with material number 2.0090 and is a bar made of solid material. This material has a limited residual phosphorus content and therefore has very good weldability and brazing properties as well as hydrogen resistance. It has excellent formability.

Due to its unique chemical and physical properties, copper rod is often used as a semi-finished product. This means it can be easily processed further and is therefore used in the production of various copper products. Copper has bactericidal properties and even in low concentrations it has a toxic effect on many microorganisms.

Thanks to its high electrical conductivity and high thermal conductivity, copper round rods are used for heating technology (radiators, heat exchangers), electrical machines (electric motors, chokes/coils) and components (clamps, contact carriers).
