I have here for sale 2 volumes of THOMAS HEARNE'S WORK - vols 3&4, containing the 2 volumes ( complete) of PETER LANGTOFT'S CHRONICLE ( as illustrated and improv'd by ROBERT OF BRUNNE) from the Death of Cadwalader to the end of K.Edward the First's Reign. Transcrib'd and now first publish'd from a MS. in the INNER- TEMPLE LIBRARY by THOMAS HEARNE. To which are added, besides a glossary and other curious papers,
  • A Roll concerning Glastonbury Abbey, being a Survey of all the Estates belonging to that House at the Dissolution, taken by King Hen, the Eighth's order and for his use.
  • An Account of the Hospital of St. Mary Magdalen near Scroby in Nottinghamshire, by John Slacke, Master of that Hospital.
  • Two Tracts by an anonymous Author; the first relating to Conquest in Somersetshire , the second concerning Stone-henge. 
The original being published in 1725 but this reprint was published in 1810 by SAMUEL BAGSTER. 

Bound in half leather boards, over paper covered boards. Gilt title lettering to the spine, the bands have 2 gilt bands with decoration by the bands. Library sticker on the spines. Spine edges are rubbed, board corners are bumped.  Marbled fore-edges. Library stickers to the endpapers. Ffep is pulling - vol ii. Signature to the ffep. Toned pages. These books are in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages, toned pages, ccxxvi, 230pp; 231-714, [4]pp; 22cm x 14cm.

Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. 
To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account. You can then request a combined postage cost and I will combine the items into the fewest parcels as possible - saving you money :)
