Hummel Flower Madonna & Child, 10/I Full Bee TMK2

This is a stunning vintage religious statue. It is an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary sitting with a young Jesus on her lap. She is wearing voluminous robes with a detailed floral pattern.Our Lord is standing pointing to a flower while lovingly caressing His mother's cheek. It is an intimate moment between Mother & Child. Breathtaking.

The piece is signed "M.I. Hummel" on the back of Our Lady's dress. It is stamped "10/1 " and is marked with the Goebel "Full Bee Germany", dating it to 1950-1955.
