(The company was founded by Konrad Dressler in Fürth in 1917. The first products were for domestic needs, such as door handles or cigarette containers. Five years after the company was founded, the production of toys began. Mainly models of horse-drawn cannons and military carriages were manufactured. In 1946, the first 0-gauge railway was delivered. In 1956, production of the two-wire system with 14-volt direct current trains in H0 gauge began; for two years, the fleischmann company was only able to sell rails. In 1962, the production of 0 gauge trains and other products was abandoned in favor of an exclusive production of H0 gauge trains. Distribution was largely carried out by Quelle GmbH, which however decided in 1970 to sell the products through the cheaper supplier Lima. As a result, the Konrad Dressler company had no economic basis for existence.)
