History : The flagship HMS VICTORY has remained famous over time for one of the most famous naval battles in modern history fought on 21 October 1805 at the Cape of Trafalgar, between the English fleet of Admiral Nelson and the Franco-Spanish one. Carefully restored in its original equipment and colour, the VICTORY, transformed into a museum, is currently on display in a dry dock in Portsmouth.
