Pen & Pencil has NO Date code, Which makes it made PRE 1979
( 1979 - -- -- NL NI Date coding begins in the US )

The pen is push button activated
The pencil is twist activated, rotate clockwise to extend the lead and counterclockwise to retract the lead
The pencil also comes with an eraser under the cap.
