Kuman Thong

We believe that once a pregnant mummy aborted or miscarriage, she would have sins whether its on purpose or not. When Parents have sins, their karma will be brought over to their decendents. Even when their kids is in Hell, they will have to suffer on behalf on their parents. This is why the child spirits only gets to come back after they finish their sentence in Hell. Its also a sin to pass away at young age Those who really gets to finish their pagoda will be the luckiest ones. This is why a lot of ppl abortion but only gets to feel their lost child's presense after a few years.. But some parents will never get to see their lost child.  But there are some who really gets to finish everything and swim across the currents and in the cold. Just to survive so that they can come come back to find their parents. But by that time they are here.. It would be a few years already. And most of the parents are already with Newborn kids. And that is why, we have cases like Child spirits hating and hold grudges as they never gets the chance to live as the newborns.. And this is where we will have child spirits cannot leave in peace and following their parents where ever they go. Some children can understand. But some cannot There are Parents who do not know that the child have suffered so much because of them. In fact fearing their own child spirit and even go to an extend to employ Masters to kill their own child or prevent the child spirits from going near them. So heartless. This is why we will have Great Monks or Ajahns helping them to relief their pain. Giving them chance to be loved once again. A chance for them to accumulate merits and help others can redeem their sins so that they can go for recarination as a Deity. Great Monks and Ajahns uses Buddha Scriptures with their password to invite the children into statue or pendent as a Kumanthong.

A real Kuman Thong is not one of the smiling plastic statues that you see on so many shrines around Thailand. The original and true Kuman Thong is something entirely more sinister and taboo—the art of black magic at its darkest. To make Kuman Thong, one first has to surgically remove a stillborn fetus from its mother’s womb. A ceremony must then be performed by someone well-trained in the ancient secrets of Thai animist necromancy. In a cemetery, at night, the dead baby is dry-roasted over a fire while the necromancer chants the necessary mantras and secret incantations that will bind the spirit of the stillborn child to it. Once dried, the corpse is covered in lacquer and gold foil, which is the original reason for the name Kuman Thong. In the most authentic version of the ceremony, a substance called Nam-man phrai is also applied to the corpse. The method of collecting Nam-man phrai is quite spooky in itself. It involves burning a candle under the chin of the corpse of a woman who died while pregnant, and collecting the oil that comes out of the skin. It is said to be powerful stuff and is used in all sorts of folk magic such as crafting love charms, though genuine Nam-man phrai is illegal. The origin of making Kuman Thong seems to be found in the folk legend Khun Chang Khun Phaen, which is based on the life of a soldier in the Ayutthaya era. In the story, Khun Phaen makes the first Kuman Thong from the fetus of his dead wife’s unborn child. Nowadays, genuine Kuman Thong have been mostly replaced by symbolic statues that depict a young boy in traditional Ayutthaya era attire. Kuman has his hair done up in a little topknot and will often be holding a small sack of gold.

Thai Amulets

Thai Buddha amulet ( Phrakhrueang ) , often referred to academically as votive tablet , is a type of Thai Buddhist blessed item. It is used to raise funds to help a temple's operations. A Thai Buddhist monk will give an amulet to Buddhists as a gift after they donate money or offerings to the temple. The amulets are then no longer considered a gift but a tool to enhance luck in different aspects of life. Local people also use amulets to improve their marriage , wealth , health , love , and relationships.

It is Thai's tradition to place amulets under a stupa or other temple structure during its construction. When the structure collapses , many amulets can be found , with some amulets being centuries old.

Almost every Thai Buddhist has at least one amulet. It is common to see both young or elderly people wear at least one amulet around the neck in order to feel closer to Buddha.

Amulets are made using the Buddha image , an image of a famous monk , sometimes even an image of the monks who made the amulets. Amulets vary in size, shape, and materials such as plaster, bone, wood, or metal. They may include ash from incense or old temple structures or hair from a famous monk to add protective power to the amulets. After the amulets are made, the maker will then ask the monks who live in the temple, or monks from other temples, to congregate in order to chant , pray , and bless the amulets. This process can take anywhere from a week to more than three years to complete.

Story Of Phra Somdej

Phra Somdej were created by Phra Buddhachan Toh Phromarangsi. Among devotees he is addressed as Somdej Toh or Archan Toh, he is one of the most beloved and famous Buddhist monks during Thailand's Rattanakosin period in Thailand ruled under King Rama. Somdej Toh started creating the very first batch of Phra Somdej amulets in B.E.2409 (1866). Phra Somdej is one of the Five Grand set of BenjaPakee as the leading amulet.
Materials for making Phra Somdej amulets consist of Holy powder - Phong Vises, Shell lime from the sea, Assorted flowers from shine, Rice remains after consumption, Lotus flower, Banana rip, Ashes from incense urns, Holy water, Honey, Tang oil, Chanted sand, etc and chanted with great mass chanting ceremony. It is believe that the amulet will protects against evil spirits, harm, unknown danger and bring good luck to the wearer.

Story Of Leklai

The words LekLai may be translated "steel eel", an allusion to the ability of certain LekLai to assume the liquid state. In many tales, one is assured that LekLai is not a simple mineral but a kind of metal-animal , capable of "swimming across mountains". One of the foremost powers of LekLai is to render its wearer invulnerable, and to prevent any fire arms from going off anywhere near him.
It can just as easily be used as a weapon of attack, at once reverting to the liquid state, flowing toward the victim, invading his body by the nostrils and ears, poisoning his blood and immediately returning to its guardian in its usual state. The consequences of putting LekLai into action varying so greatly from one person to another, I insist that clients coming to this site use their intuition and discernment in their resolve to purchase LekLai and especially not to employ it as a substitute medical treatment or putting it to work

Story of Phra Pidta

The Pidta style amulet with a monk sitting in full or half-lotus position and with his hands covering his eyes and face is a style that has become very popular among Thai Buddhists, but other Buddhists across the world as well.
Phra Pidta is a representation of a venerable monk well known for deep samadhi meditation (absorption) during Siddhartha Buddha’s time more than 2,550 years ago.
Hands over the eyes symbolizes a blocking out of the outside world during intense Sammabart meditation. This is Jhana level meditation which can also cross-over into Abhinna. Abhinna are supernatural experiences which people meditating in the fourth Jhana can sometimes attain.
People buy these amulets to increase their wealth primarily. Business prosperity is a major benefit of this amulet. Yet, there are said to be many benefits of the amulets including good luck and protection from harm of all sorts
