The first version of the Pocket Kodak dates from 1895. A period advertisement presents it this way: “The Pocket-Kodak is a small, very elegantly constructed device that can easily be put in your pocket. It gives proofs of 4x5 centimeters, measures 96x74x58 millimeters and weighs fully loaded 140 grams. It is loaded with reels of film for 12 exposures which can be loaded in daylight. This device is covered in real morocco (burgundy red). The Pocket-Kodak has a new automatic shutter which is always cocked, it is adjusted with achromatic lens. A rod does the operations, arms and triggers the shutter; a second rod does the posing or immediacy, and a third controls the diaphragms. It has a large viewfinder and a small red window on the back of the camera allowing you to see the number of exposures being made and how many rolls of film have already been used. The model presented is in good condition, it comes with its small original carrying bag, accompanied by two empty spools.

Very good condition and complete. The lenses (lens and viewfinder) are foggy and contain dust. The viewfinder is usable although dark. The shutter does not work because it appears to be missing a part. For collection.
