Antique hand painted small pitcher. Made in Vienna, Austria in the early 1900s. The importer of this pitcher was Paul Straub which dates the item to around 1915.
The pitcher is a light green on the bottom with highlights of purple, blues etc. The front bottom features hand painted daisies with green leaves. The pattern on the back is a single row of hand painted white daisies with a green/yellow background. The upper portion of the pitcher is a high gloss white with a gold line and gold/yellow daisies. Heavy gold is found on the handle and the rim. The inside is solid white.
It is fully marked on the reverse. Other than some minor gold wear, it is in nice shape. No chips, cracks or crazing. measures about 5 1/4" tall to the rim. From the tip of the sprout to the tip of the handle it measures about 6" wide.
Just gorgeous..
