You are bidding on an original autograph of Phil Rizzuto HOF of the New York Yankees and Billy Hitchcock and Ferris Fain of the Philadelphia Athletics.
The auction starting price on this photo is $29.95, because all 3 players autographed it.
Also in the picture is Bing Miller (33), 1st Base Coach of the Philadelphia Athletics.
The write up on the photo: Rizzuto Escapes Trap. Scooter Rizzuto, Yankee shortstop, is apparently trapped between first (bottom) and second base in second inning of Yankees-Athletics game in Yankee Stadium today. Second baseman Bill Hitchcock is about to throw to first baseman Ferris Fain (8) as they run him down. Trap was sprung when Yankee third baseman Billy Johnson broke for home from third and Hitchcock threw to third. Rizzuto was safe on second on play.
Yankees won the game 5-4.
The autographs are on a b/w AP Press Photo. The photo was taken April 23, 1951.

This photo was part of an Auction lot sold by Heritage Auction Galleries of Dallas, Texas in May 2015.
The entire lot was Pre-Certified by JSA (James Spence Authentication, LLC) and you will get a Letter of Authenticity (LOA) dated May 14-16, 2015.
