3-6V - Suitable for most flashlights using 2 or more batteries I.e. Maglite 2D - 4D.

6-24V - Suitable for larger flashlights containing 6 or more cells, such as Maglite 5D, 6D and 7D, and commercial applications such as powertool torches from Makita, Ryobi and Bosch.

Please note: LEDs may not work in some applications using a lantern battery (I.e. Eveready Dolphin) as the current flow has a reversed polarity.
