HO Brass Union Pacific CA-3 Steel Cupola Caboose #25049 circa 1959-1985. Interior Details Plus Lighting. Produced in Korea by Ajin Precision for Overland Models, Inc. in 2000. OMI #3970.6. MINT.

Union Pacific added 100 examples of this CA-3 class caboose – the first steel cabooses on their roster – beginning in 1942. This example represents cupola #25049 after repainting and renumbering around 1959.

This caboose – and most others in the class - had already received the outside-swing-hanger steel trucks on which this hack rolls. Car #25049 joined the roster of the Feather River Rail Society in Portola, Calif. In 1986.

The model features a high level of well-assembled all-brass details. The fit and finish are of the highest order. The model includes interior details as well as track-powered interior lighting.

All original packaging and parts are included and are in MINT condition.
