Prime R2 amplifier

 

The PRIME R2 Series is designed for car audio fanatics who want a reliable amplifier with all the power and performance you expect from Rockford Fosgate at an affordable price. 

Rockford Fosgate amplifiers are known worldwide for being “underrated,” easily exceeding all specifications and, most importantly, producing more power than their ratings. 

The latest generation of PRIME Series amplifiers are also designed to be easy to set up and configure, making them perfect for use with factory audio or custom aftermarket systems.

 

 

 

All 4 mono amplifiers are built according to the CLASS-D principle, which gives the amplifiers an extremely high efficiency of up to 85%. 

Allen models come with a bass level remote control. 

Top panel design: When installed, all controls such as high, low pass or subsonic filters can be easily adjusted from above.

Customers also get more for their money with mono amps. 

For example, it is not uncommon to find measured powers of around 1400-1500 watts RMS for the R2-1200X1, although Rockford states “only” a modest 1200 watts RMS. Just Rockford.

 

 

 

All R2 Prime models are built according to the CLASS-D principle, which gives the amplifiers an extremely high efficiency of up to 85%. 

But the best thing is that Rockford has retained its love of understatement in the PRIME class: 

This means that every Rockford customer gets more power and performance for free, as can be seen from the measurement reports included with each amplifier. 

The new series has high and low level inputs with auto-turn-on, which makes switching on without a remote a problem. 

With CLEAN, the Prime series now has the ingenious feature from the larger Power series, which simplifies the setting and leveling of the system and perfectly eliminates CLIPPING.
