              Traditional English style heavy billhook with the hook beak , the only difference is this modern version of a centuries old tool has a hard plastic hand grip instead of a traditional turned wooden handle, made of a hard weather resistant plastic the handle is contoured for a sure grip hold thats comfortable and firm even when wet.  Razor sharp carbon steel blade will make light work of all traditional billhook jobs such as chopping up branches, splitting kindling, clearing weeds and hacking down scrub.  Can also be used for the traditional tasks of hedging and hedge laying if anybody does that in Australia at all, otherwise treat as you would a short machete or heavy sickle as the item is basically a cross between the two fore mentioned tools.
