Origin of this collection:
I’m creating listings for the various View-Master reel sets. All of it belonged to my grandparents who passed in 2010 & 2011, respectively. I’ve had the collection ever since. They were the only owners. My were born in the early 1900s. View-Master was introduced at the World’s Fair in New York in 1939. If my grandfather were still around, I would ask him if he saw it demonstrated there. He lived in a nearby city. I don’t really know where they first started collecting, but I do know that their collection spanned a lot of years. A lot were from the 40s.
Soon, I’ll be listing their View-Master viewer Model C.
