Black Duck, carved and painted wood, pencil signed on base in a carved square "M.H. Gould, Anson, Maine", nicely detailed in a preening position, 3" H, 8.5 L" x 2.5 W". 

Excellent condition.

This was a gift made for my stepfather who was a close friend of Maurice (Square) Gould in 1979. Cape Cod and Maine artist, very well known.
