A late Victorian bamboo, brass and cast iron umbrella stand. Circa 1890s, Aesthetic period.

This beautiful and extremely rare bamboo and brass stick stand with a black cast iron base is absolutely beautiful.

Very delicate, functional and striking.

It is quite slender and will fit into a corner. It also works well free standing on its own with a heavy base.

There are two bamboo supports to the front and two brass supports at the back.

The cast iron base is designed to catch water from wet umbrellas and walking sticks.

This is a stunning item and full of character, it would make a great feature to any porch or hall entrance, useful for walking sticks or to use as a prop or for a display.

Do please study all my pictures and feel free to ask if you require any more.
