On offer is a vintage Compact shape Demitasse / Espresso Coffee Cup and Saucer, decorated with the Broadstone pattern, made by Poole Pottery Dorset England.

The Broadstone pattern, is a speckled honey-coloured glaze, with a dark brown line around the rim, the compact shape was designed by Robert Jefferson in the early 1960s, this shape has the distinctive ribbed lines on the edges or base, designed for easy stacking. It is microwave and dishwasher safe. Note if buying as a replacement for a present set, that colour variations exist within the range. They are dishwasher & microwave safe.

The Cup is approximately 6.5cm tall by 6.5cm in diameter; the saucer is 12.5cm across and are in good condition free from crazing, chips, or cracks. On the underside is either a Poole mark or the Poole Dorset England mark. The unpackaged weight is 231 grams.

A nick is a tiny bit of damage smaller than 1mm and a chip is something you can see with the eye; a hairline runs over the surface glazing but not the body of the item and a crack runs through the body of the item, usually weakening its structure.

But we also offer several options for a faster delivery, so if you require the item quicker, just select the Royal Mail 24hr special delivery (Next Day by 1pm) or 1st Class recorded (1 to 2 days) to get it faster from the postage options.
