Derived from the structure of Ludwig’s famous Acrolite series, the Acro snare features a lightly tempered beaded shell with brush finishing across four unique and characterful shell materials: aluminum, brass, copper, and bronze. This Ludwig Acro snare drum features a brass shell, offering an extra-bright attack with a gorgeous ring and overtones. The Acro snare comes outfitted with an ornate, fast-acting, and fully cast P86AC snare throw off and P35P butt plate, along with 10 steadfast and like-original Twin lugs. Capping the Acro snare are a pair of drumstick-forgiving 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops, which Sweetwater’s drummers love for promoting fantastic tuning flexibility and wide-open tone.
