B Vitamins

The B vitamins are a group of water-soluble vitamins that work well together to support nervous system health. Together, the B-complex vitamins provide nourishment for the occasional stress of daily living. B complex vitamins support energy metabolism, with each nutrient performing a unique role in maintaining proper metabolic functioning.

The recommended intake is unique to each individual B vitamin, but it is important to get adequate amounts of each one since they all have their own role to play in maintaining optimal health. Since the B vitamins are water-soluble, they are not readily stored in the body making daily dietary intake necessary.1

Thiamin – Supports sugar metabolism, Ribolfavin – Supports fat & protein metabolism, Niacin – Supports cell growth, B-6 – Promotes production of red blood cells, B-12 – Supports energy metabolism, Biotin – Supports healthy hair, skin, nails. Folic Acid – Supports nervous system health. Pantothenic Acid – Supports energy metabolism
Electrolytes

Sodium and potassium are major minerals, meaning they are each found in amounts greater than 5 g in the human body. Both are considered important electrolytes needed for wellbeing. Potassium works with sodium to regulate the body’s water balance. This allows blood flow and nutrient delivery to active muscles to be maintained during exercise. When taken with adequate fluids, electrolytes help to promote hydration. Electrolytes are also important for helping to regulate nerve signals from the brain and spinal cord to muscles.

Minerals such as sodium and potassium cannot be produced by the body so they must be obtained through dietary means. The best sources of potassium include fruits and vegetables such as potatoes, dried apricots, and bananas. During prolonged, high-intensity exercise, electrolytes can be lost through sweating, making supplementation particularly suitable for active individuals.

When taken with adequate fluids, ELECTROLYTES HELP TO PROMOTE HYDRATION.

SUPPLEMENTATION IS PARTICULARLY SUITABLE FOR ACTIVE INDIVIDUALS.

Antioxidants
Bell pepper, Kiwi, Lemon, Orange, Collard Green

Vitamin C is one of the most effective antioxidants. Antioxidants help fight free radicals and assist in maintaining good health. Free radicals are unstable compounds that can occur naturally in our bodies as by-products of metabolism. They can contribute to oxidative stress, which may damage cells and can interfere with a normal cell’s ability to function.
