This sale is for a vintage metal Kirby vacuum salesman's demo advertising tool.  A salesman would attach this item to a vacuum and insert a filter inside of the device. Dust would accumulate on the filter and show the word "Kirby" embossed on the filter. Condition is very good and the clear plastic lens is in very good shape with no serious scratches.  The latch works well and the device opens and closes easily. This piece would make a great advertising display as the word "Kirby" has somewhat of an art deco appearance. It could also be used to create a unique lamp or other steam pump project.
