I believe they are a pair of earrings or possibly part of Fibulae Ornament

They are very heavy weighing 68 grams (2.4oz) each.

Measures 5 3/8" tall by 2 5/8" at the widest.

The top loop on both pieces is open. It appears they were cut to remove them from where they were used.
