Technical Description 

A superb cut glass oval serving plate, with a fan cut rim and body of diamond cuts.

Date & Origin 

Ireland or England, c1830. Period of George IV.

Condition

Very good, a few chips to the rim as shown, nothing serious, no cracks or restoration.

Hand-blown around the time Austins of Derry was established in Northern Ireland. At its closure in 2016, it remained the world's oldest independent department store.
