This is a fantastic piece of Australian Mid Century Modern furniture. This stool is constructed from Queensland Maple and Hoop Pine Ply with original laminate details to the font. I have not come across another piece like it! The cushion on top still has the original rubber insert. The cushion comes off and it attached by press studs. c 1950. Unfortunately the maker is unknow, though is likely to be one of the many Eastern European cabinet making firms operating post WWII.

In great condition. Some minor wear to the timber finish in places. There is some piping that is missing on the top of the cushion edge.
