Rare ~ Ethnic ~ late Ottoman era ~ handmade ~ silver choker necklace called kirdan or Gerdanlik ~ And was worn in many areas under Ottoman control with many variations. This has elements close to Armenian and Turkish areas on the coast of the Black Sea ( South Eastern Anatolia, Urfa/Mardin/Sirt ) ~ Its very well made and is very light with highly skilled craftsmanship~ Necklace central pendant can detached and the end two pasts can be worn as bracelets .
Dates : from the late 19th to early 20th Century ~ most likely made by Armenian silver smith

Materials :
Silver (acid tested for atleast 800 silver )

Measurements :
Necklace is 14 1/4 inches in length x 1 1/4 inches average width ~ Central pendant max drop length is 3 inches x 2 1/4 inches max width .
Weighs 49 grams on my weighing scale .

Condition :
Overall its in good antique condition with minor age related wear ~ Missing one charm (not very noticeable ) ~ Heavy age patina to silver ~ clasp is in good working order but a later replacement and is not made of silver .

Please Note ~ As vintage items are previously loved /used please do expect some minor wear like surface wear /dents /dings and metal discoloration .
