Gopher Glory, 100 Years of Minnesota Basketball, Layers Publishing 1995, presumed first edition, edited by Steve Perlstein, foreword by Clem Haskins, and preface by Kevin McHale.  This is a limited edition hardback of what clearly is the definitive work on University of Minnesota basketball through 1995.   And it is very well done, taking you through all the years of Minnesota basketball, including the very early years.  You find that one of the players on the very first game ever played, at Springfield College where Naismith invented the game, was Raymond Kaighn, who later came to Minnesota and in 1894 reportedly organized the very first intercollegiate game, between his school Hamline and a branch of the University. The book is lavishly illustrated, wonderfully so in fact, has the results of all the years 1895-1995, and has a nice preface by Kevin McHale, voted the University’s player of the century, famous Celtic, and hall of famer.  And it is signed by both McHale and then coach Clem Haskins.  The book is numbered 95 of 500 copies, is in excellent condition, and comes with a slipcase that has mild wear but seems to be uncommon in the books I see on offer.  A fine book, a real basketball history, at a good price.

Excuse any shadows on my photos of the pages, that is my poor photography, the covers and  pages are clean and bright.
