Decorative Chinese plate hand painted with an interesting scene including the red-crowned crane which symbolises longevity and happiness.
There is quite a bit of gold in the background around the rim, on the rim edge and as highlight to the main picture.
The stamp states "Handpainted Decoratium Made in China", suggesting it was made some time between 1950 and 2000.
It is made from quite thick ceramic and measures 10in in diameter.
