This issue is on A.E. Thomas's "Only 38," staged by Sam H. Harris and starring Mary Ryan, which was performed at the Tremont Theater in Boston on the week of December 5, 1921.

"The play "Only 38" is a sprightly comedy, full of youth and sunshine, and claiming as its author A. E. Thomas. In "Only 38," Miss Ryan has a part that will delight the countless admirers she won through her work in "On Trial" & "The House of Glass." Her role is that of a widow who has not yet passed her thirty-eighth birthday, but who is the mother of a son and daughter old enough to enter college. The question the play asks and answers is "How old must a woman be before the world bids her give up all thoughts of love."

The program is in near fine condition. Clean bright pages bereft of inscription, firm binding, vibrant covers, etc.
