This probably pre WWII. Munsingwear started using the "Kumfisheer" name in 1939. It's big at 43"x29 1/2". It's heavy poster stock. The condition is pretty amazing for an 80 year old piece of paper. it’s spent its life folded in half and there is some damage from that and two tears in the middle of each ends. The colors are bright and beautiful.

I am not a poster expert, but I believe this is lithograph printing. It also looks to me that parts of this could’ve been hand-painted, but I’m not sure about that. I can feel different textures and elevations of the ink or paint. I have a magnified picture that looks like it could have a pencil outline. Again, I am not sure of the printing technique so please use the pictures as your guide and ask any questions you may have. There is ghosting on the back where the poster is pink or white.

I am sure that this is an awesome looking poster, and that you’ll probably never see one in this condition again. It will ship folded at the crease and flat. I do not want to roll this. Buyer pays actual shipping, no handling charges here!
