Now, you can relive the excitement of the first installment with this Japanese chirashi mini poster featuring Daniel (Macchio), Mr. Miyagi (Morita), Ali (Shue) and Johnny (Zabka) and his gang in full color.

It may be small, but this poster is still packed with high action energy and has been carefully mounted to a custom, brown colored 4-ply mat and protected within an MDF frame behind tempered glass. This poster is not a reproduction or reprint and although it was publicly circulated to promote the film's theatrical release, this original example is free of defects and exhibits fabulous bright colors.

Common for chirashi, this particular flyer also contains fabulous content on the back. Bordered by another custom mat, the reverse shows six sharp, black and white images from the movie, including a shot from the thrilling All-Valley Karate Tournament. Japanese chirashi are paper flyers placed in cinema lobbies and other venues to promote current and future movie releases, concerts, books, and other events or products. For cinema, they often take the form of a miniature replica of a traditional movie poster with promotional photos, behind-the-scenes shots and copy on the reverse. Since they are only available for a limited time while the marketed event is running, some chirashi's have become very collectable and haven risen in value based on their age and scarcity.

What's unique about some of these Japanese flyers is that the artwork can be custom created just for the Japanese market, with a distinctive design that often looks quite different to what is available in other countries. In many cases the design is superior, and some innovative releases include fold-out posters and specialty prints you won't find anywhere else.

While they can appear in different sizes and formats, the standard chirashi is professionally printed on a single sheet of high quality paper roughly 7 by 10 inches in size (B5 size, 8cm x 26cm) with a color poster design on the front and a black and white or monochrome back. Some special flyers are folded to include four panels filled with exciting visuals. Unlike larger posters, you can express your varied passions by collecting a wide assortment of chirashi and displaying several on a wall without requiring a lot of space.
