This rare THIRD EDITION was published in 1820 by HARRIS & SON, London. With 84 individual engraved plates (complete) over 28 pages - very entertaining plus a folding map - lacking half of the map.  A delightful nineteenth century travel guide to Europe, written in an accessible manner for children.Taylor discusses various European countries, giving an overview of each one, and providing further engaging information. Countries mentioned include Iceland, Russia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Holland, Poland, Hungary and more.

Bound in paper covered boards with red leather spine. Crease down centre of front board. Spine and board edges are worn. Boards are age soiled. Inscriptions on the inside of the front board and the ffep. Foxing in the margins of the pages and age soiling. 93pp, [4pp] - publishers lists. 17cm x 11cm.
