Dawson’s Creek WB Promo DVD Rough Cut

This was an early sample sent to the tv station affiliates to show the upcoming series of Dawson’s Creek.

These are very similar to the versions that aired except the music is completely different.

The opening theme song is:

100 Pilot - Episode 1

103 Discovery - Episode 4

104 Hurricane - Episode 5

Episodes 2 and 3 were not included for some reason.

When it is supposed to go to a commercial, the screen fades and says “COMMERCIAL BLACK”

These are rough cut reviews - meaning that the music is temp, and some of the sound effects have not been added. The show never aired any of these episodes in this format with this music, so that makes it extremely rare.

There is a shorter version of the pilot that had a different actor playing Mitch Leery. This is NOT that version. It’s pretty close to the original one that aired, but with subtle differences, a different opening song, and temp music.

Dvd is in excellent condition. It is just a DVD in a plain case. Unfortunately I do not have the original case for it.
